Regular Season Tie Breaker. If a game is tied after regulation time expires the following format will be used to break the tie: A five-minute stop time overtime with 3 skaters and a goalie per team. If no goal is scored, a 3 player, penalty shot format, shoot out will break the tie. All players shall be used before a shooter can be chosen to shoot again. Winning team will receive 2 points in the standings and, losing team 1 point.
